So, lately, I’ve been getting into more music, and of course, playing video games. Dr. Doom got so many unneeded buff in UMVC3 in my opinion, but since he’s my favorite character, I GUESS I can let it slide, lol

I guess that’s all I really have to say now. Nothing else to add really, lol

I’ve been paying attention to Evil Ryu and Oni for SSF4AE, and I actually like both of them a lot. Sure they’re both shotos, and sure the game has enough of em, BUT I still love shotos, and I like Evil Ryu a lot. I think I’ll be using Yang more than anyone though, but I’m sorta hoping we get an Evil Ken as well.

As for BBCS2, I’m looking forward to using Platinum and the new Bang. Everyone looks like so much fun though, so I’ll probably use Ragna/Jin/Hazama/Valkenhayn/Hakumen as well, might even pick up Rachel.

I’m really hoping for a release of some older games. I know SF3:OE is on its way, and I know most of the others will probably never make it here, since there either weren’t enough fans of the game, or it had a difficult learning curve, but I would kill to have Rival Schools, Capcom vs SNK 2 (<- favorite fighter), Alpha 3, Darkstalkers 3, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure on PSN/XBLA. ALL of those are very good games, and I'd buy em all.

Well, that's all that's on my mind at the moment. I may pick up Mortal Kombat 9, but I'm not a real MK fan, so I gotta think about that one. GGs

I know I haven’t been posting anything new lately, been sorta looking for jobs and such….

Anyways, today, a new anime series came out in Japan. Its called Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. I think its pretty good, though some parts may or may not be safe to show to just anyone (if the title didnt give it away xP).

Personally, I dont usually like these types of shows, since they make me feel like a pervert, and I tend to like watching shows that have a clear story (ex. Static Shock, Batman Beyond, Dragon Ball/Z/Kai, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto) but this one, I like the style of it most. Of course since I’m a guy, there’s a pretty obvious reason why I’d like this show, but that’s not the only reason. I LOVE the artwork and the animation, and I’m intrigued with how many onomatopoeias (English ones at that!!!) are present in an episode. Pretty much everything that makes a sound has a word that will show up along with it that describes it.

I also really like the music in the series. I cant really go into detail for all of them, since I have no idea what all of them are called but I find the intro very funny. I can only imagine what it’s like to sing an intro for such a show, for me, I wouldn’t be able to stop laughing.

Anyway, this show is beyond awesome in my opinion, and if it EVER comes out here, I am definitely going to attempt to buy a DVD/Blueray of it.

It really does sound like the last two will be confirmed, and I’m really excited since if they are, we will have 4 out of the Six Heros, and since I man one (Hakumen), this pretty much guarantees more back story for them. Hopefully this also means that a few more characters will make their way to CS, it’d fill out the character select a bit and add some interesting matchups.

I personally am interested in Valkenhayn (if you couldn’t tell). He reminds me of Guilty Gear’s Slayer, so I think I may sub him.

This looks to be a really good game, I’m really excited about it xD

So far, what I got was (taken from another one of my posts):

“Don’t get me wrong, I am definitely liking MvC3, but I’m torn between absolutely loving it and feeling sad that its not MvC2 with addons.

First things first, lets get some things out of the way. MvC2 is known for “cheapness”, “spamming”, and any other tactic you can think of. Obviously, it does detour some people from the game, since they feel that characters they like cannot ever compare to the mighty Sentinel/Magneto/Storm/Cable, so they (Capcom) decided to attempt to cater to both. LISTEN HERE!!!! This is a GOOD move, which most games should go for. Both audiences are important. A company that listens is generally a good company, and for that I give Capcom my gratitude.

Lets look at what they added (AFAIK!!!!!).

3D graphics – I’m a big fan of 2D fighters, but I see that some aren’t happy with “low quality”, “5 minute” drawings. I am okay with 3D models though because it allows the game to be developed faster.

Air Dashing(?) – Yes, appears to be taken from TvC (or BB/GG/VS/Etc….) and is in the game. IADing FTW!!!!!

New Controls – Yeah, yeah. What made probably 80% of the controversy over this game. AFAIK, this new button is pretty much like HP, but also is a universal launcher. Who really cares anymore? People like to brag about characters being harder to use and crap, and they like to complain when they lose that you won with no skill. This helps eliminate that.

Missing Characters? – Since this game is not using any visuals from the sequels, its safe to assume that there’s a high chance some of our favorite MvC2 characters wont make it in this game. Good/bad news is there are going to be new characters in place of them. Why waste time making new characters when you should have made (insert ur stupid character here)? Because Capcom hates you, don’t buy the game.

This Universal Launcher Apparently, this launcher is supposed to have somepretty interesting qualities. For example, not only does it launch (a necessity for any “X”vC game), but you can use it in the air to continue combos if you press it and a direction. I’m not certain that this will knock them in that direction or if it always knocks them down (latter most logical), but your opponent has the option to guess which direction you press and escape. When hit towards the ground, it places the opponent in an OTG (off the ground) state, allowing follow-ups.

So yeah, that’s all I know at the moment, if you know more (was lazy and didn’t watch the E3 stuff), lemme know.

TL:DR – I like it but it’s definitely not MvC2.”

From what he said, it looks like infinites are long gone, but characters with diagonal airdashes may have crazy resets, but it may be tricky since I dont think you can cancel normals with a dash.

Hulk looks like he may need a buff, but they game isnt out yet, so I cant really say for sure right now.

As it stands, I am really liking MvC3, even though as a BIG MvC2 fan, apparently im not supposed to like it too much.

Kula has been confirmed in KOF XIII. Cant wait to use Team K’ again, its been too long.

It appears that she and Maxima are the last characters to be released, but I think there will be more. If we dont see any in the arcades, hopefully they’ll be in the console release.

I know Capt. and Felicia are from MvC2, but they weren’t confirmed for this one previously, so now they’re here for sure. I hope the roster jumps up a lot soon, I cant wait for this to be completed.
